New catalogue offers an in-depth look at the diverse artistic practice of Violetta Ehnsperg. Born in Graz, Austria, and now based in Vienna, Ehnsperg studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Her work spans abstract painting, installation, sculpture, fashion, and scenography, reflecting themes of origin, femininity, and independence.

The new special issue of the Austrian art magazine PARNASS UP&COMING features Violetta Ehnsperg as a promising emerging artist selected by CHANEL Austria. To mark this special recognition, CHANEL is supporting her in the realisation of a new art project. PARNASS met Ehnsperg for a conversation in a former office and industrial complex in Vienna’s 12th district, where she has set up an expansive studio with a multi-story workspace, a costume collection, and a large garden with a swimming pool.
